Great location for exploring downtown Pleasanton on foot. You can walk up and down Main Street checking out menues—or just jaywalk to Brava Garden Eatery. Excellent food. Their flan was beyond compare. You could taste the love that went into it. The hotel has old-world charm, like the "telephone" nook, and gracefully curved staircase. The rooms were luxurious yet practical, and the evening turn-down service was a delightful surprise. And the breakfast choice was quite impressive—they had us at Peet's coffee. Staff was pleasant, polite, and helpful.

Absolutely adore this place! Highly recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms were amazing with a comfortable bed and big bathtub. Lots of very sweet personal touches in the rooms, clearly very thoughtfully organized. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice.

The Rose Hotel was an amazing experience and stay. Could not recommend more. Amazing staff, beautiful interior design and the rooms were spacious with all the amenities desired. Breakfast had a wide variety of food with great ingredients. Would come back!

I’ve had the good fortune of staying at lot of luxury hotels and The Rose Hotel is near the top of my list. Beautiful rooms and furnishings throughout. Breakfast buffet is not expansive but has a good selection and food quality is top notch. It’s a fairly small hotel so not the constant hustle bustle of big brand hotels. The covered first floor parking right next to the back entrance made it quick and easy to come and go. The location is right in the middle of Pleasanton’s walkable downtown. There is a railroad a few block away that I heard blasting its horn in the middle of the night, but if I hadn’t already been awake I don’t think it would have woken me up. Housekeeping was fantastic and offers turn down service. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher.

Been here 2x now. My son lives close. Lovely hotel, large rooms, little bar in lobby, close to restaurants, walkable. We got a crabby reception gal who was not helpful with eats ideas and dismissive so only 4 stars. Also can't check in till 3. So, you got kicked out of one hotel at 11 had 4 hrs to kill. :(. Be prepared.

We absolutely loved our stay, everything from start to finish was wonderful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and there is so much attention to detail and flourishes in all the right places. One of the best places we’ve stayed at, would absolutely recommend.

Lovely, comfortable rooms with very comfy bed. Good parking for hotel guests and several excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Had the best relaxing 5 day stay at the Rose Hotel. Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. All staff were courteous, friendly, helpful and diligent. Wish all hotels were like the Rise Hotel!

Relaxing stay. Very nice breakfast. Hot coffee and water for tea available throughout the day and evening. Rooms nicely appointed and very comfortable. Ev charger available. The team that works in the hotel is always friendly and helpful.
