Americas Best Value Inn Livermore offers a budget-friendly option with a convenient location near downtown and shopping centers. However, recent reviews highlight significant cleanliness and maintenance concerns, alongside occasional positive feedback regarding staff kindness and bed comfort. Overall, guests seem to receive what they pay for, with considerable variability in experience.
Room 115 was clean with microwave, small refrigerator??, TV with remote. Bed was firm. Service OK. I came a day earlier because the mornings had heavy fog. I asked if I could park in parking lot overnight in my van. They said no. You leave room key card in room when leaving. There is a minimum of banter here. Location is great, it's at the south end of the lively Livermore downtown. It's a couple of miles to reach the freeway.
This cute little motel was the perfect place for us to spend the night in Livermore. It was inexpensive, clean quiet and hospitable. Plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. So glad we didn't stay at an Airbnb, every time we do we are doused with chemical fragrance smells from their detergents for their sheets and towels, scented candles Etc. They all give me a headache, I slept so well, just clean linens and towels, without the tox.
Close to Stanford medical facilities and a comfortable place to stay before/after an appt. The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable and the chair in the room was as well.
Rooms are old but service is great they are super nice and if you show them kindness they will treat you with the utmost respect wifi is great ?
We picked this because of the location and should have paid more attention to reviews. There was noise all night from next door or outside, including a lot of vomiting. We got up early and went home. The bed was okay. The room needed a lot of updating, but seemed clean.
No place to hang clothes at all! No closet. One small chair that I had to drape my shirts over. What looked like old blood stains on the bed sheet! Didn’t notice until checking out because my husband slept on top of the sheets.
The room had dirt/goop on the ceiling and on the walls. The carpet looked like it had never been vacuumed, the shower tile was old and awful looking. The chair looked stained and 40 years old. When I checked in the lobby door was locked and I had to ring a bell and wait for 10 minutes for a lady to show up and help me through a glass window. I was not allowed to enter the lobby of the hotel. The location was hard to get to due to it's position on the street. I do not recommend this hotel.
The area is nice! A shopping center nearby and lots of food choices in the area. The service was friendly! Rooms are decent looking and the bed was soft. I say you get what you paid for, but not too shabby
I stayed in room 105 and the smoke detector was missing. The pink tile shower was filthy with old paint, moldy caulk and grout. I did not study the reviews and pics enough and I am sure that the 5 star reviews are questionable. Tip: bring a spray bottle of bleach or peroxide from Safeway across the street to spray in the shower so you feel safe to use it. If your have an issue with dirty walls, fabric on chairs, no pictures, faded paint on mirrors and doors, then do not stay here. It is amazing to me that people have given this hotel five stars. It is the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in and I am 59 years old and traveled to many countries. The WiFi is good. The walking distance to local convenience shops and food is very good. But the room super stinks. Be sure to eat out to feel good about being such a cheap person to stay here. Or, pick one 20 bucks more and have some dignity in yourself.
Wonderful! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, within a walkable distance to town, making it convenient for exploring the area. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and the beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. They clean your room every day, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. This place is also fantastic for families with children, providing a safe and enjoyable environment. I stayed there for a week and had a fantastic experience. Whether you're traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family, this place is highly recommended for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
