Recent reviews of the Home2 Suites by Hilton Livermore reveal a mixed experience, with some guests praising cleanliness, the convenient location, and helpful staff, particularly Elizabeth the General Manager. However, there are consistent concerns regarding staff attitude, a recurring fire alarm issue disrupting stays, and inflexible house rules that create difficulties for longer-term guests and families.
I had a disappointing experience with the breakfast attendant, name Rosie. She was very rude and appeared unhappy while assisting guests. Customer service is important, and staff should communicate politely and respectfully with customers. I hope management can address this concern and provide additional customer service training to ensure a more welcoming experience for guests.
Very disappointed with this stay. We booked well in advance and were never notified that a piercing fire alarm sound would be going off continuously for nearly two hours. At the same time, maintenance staff were entering rooms to inspect sprinklers, making it impossible to work, relax, or get ready for the day. I had to leave the property and take work meetings from my car. When I asked about a transfer or accommodation, I was told nothing could be done because there was a sign at the front desk supposedly. Poor communication and even worse customer service.
I've stayed in many hotels and so far this is like one of the most least accommodating ones that I've stayed. I'm not saying all, but there's only one receptionist named Trena whom I felt was more empathetic in my situation and was the only one who made us feel welcome and seemed happy to help. When I first arrived, I was struggling to unload everything out of the car since I had my baby in a stroller and they were able to assist me. All other members made it feel like we were bothering them when we are asking for help. We are a military family and we stayed here for a long-term maybe for over two weeks while waiting for our apartment to be available. We have a newborn and cats. They have so much red tape tapes and house rules when it comes to housekeeping. They keep on saying that it's California law that guests must stay out during housekeeping, however when I looked it up I cannot find any law saying that guests must stay out when they're doing housekeeping. One of their house rules is that we cannot stay at all inside the room while their housekeeping second is that we have to keep the cats in the kennel when they are housekeeping. Having to put the cats in the kennel and moving outside the lobby with a newborn every other day is not an easy job. I tried to compromise and put the cats inside the bathroom while they clean the main area, but they still won't allow or accept that compromise. They're just not understanding at all with certain people's situation. When it comes to following rules, they're pretty black and white and unwilling to help customers out.
Very nice studio apartment style rooms that make extended stays much more comfortable. Mid size fridge with freezer and kitchen sink with dishwasher, dishes and actual silverware make staying and working out of the room easier, with a pullout desk giving you a work area. Bathroom has a full size shower and no bath, which further streamlines the space. Wardrobe area and drawers further enhances the utility of the room. The included breakfasts vary from day to day. 2026JAN25 -There is one washing machine and one dryer still out of service, same as from my last visit. Hopefully this gets resolved.
We always stay here when we visit Livermore. It is very close to the freeway, yet very quiet. Nice rooms and common areas to relax in. Good gym, an outdoor pool and EV charging. Breakfast is good and they rotate a lot of the items so you can try something different every day.
Such a pleasant stay. The whole area was so quiet. The rooms have a full sized fridge, dishwasher, and a microwave. The blackout curtains made it difficult to know what time of day it was, which we liked. Breakfast was exceptional. My only complaint was they only had Coffeemate Hazelnut creamer at the coffee station. No other creamer options.
What an incredible experience. The General Manager at this property goes above and beyond to make guest feel welcome and immediately addressed any issues. We had an issue with a rim rate booked through Expedia, and she immediately took care of it.
Excellent. The hotel in Livermore was very clean, nice wide parking spaces so you can open your door easily. Plenty of free parking. The area was very quiet. Plenty of restaurants within blocks to grab a bite. Free breakfast included with 24 hour coffee. Nice sitting area outside, pool, fabulous work out room. Nice full size fridge and fully stocked kitchen with glasses, silverware, dishware and the there is a dishwasher. If you need Costco. It's next door.
Wonderful place to stay! Beds were super comfy and room was quiet. The entire hotel was super clean as well. Angelica made really good food for breakfast and was incredibly attentive, as she made sure there was always fresh coffee and hot food available throughout the breakfast hours. Parking was easy, as there were ample spaces for many cars.
Amazing hotel…I have not stayed in such a clean modern property in a while. Pool is beautiful and so nice. Everything is clean. Only note I could give is the breakfast could include a bit more fresh options.
