Lucy & Sugar at the front desk made the experience feel personal, not transactional—and that makes all the difference. I’ve stayed here 9+ times as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, and they consistently uphold the standard. Clean, comfortable, and run by people who truly care. If you’re looking for a stay where service still means something—this is it.

SUGAR IS SUPERB!!!! As a business traveler, it’s very pleasant to have a warm and friendly hospitality staff to greet you and take care of all of your needs. My business travel shifted on Monday due to delayed flights and my first interaction with her was over the phone, which she was absolutely accommodating and just took care of all of my needs. I had to shift my reservation And Sugar reassured me all would be well upon my arrival on Tuesday. For an older property, I was a little bit hesitant to book here, but I am pleased with the level of service that I’ve received not only from your hostess with the most is, but from the other staff here at this property.

Had a great stay as a Platinum member. The M Club is awesome with Breakfast, Dinner and Snacks. Gym was great. Clean and has fridge with cold water bottles which is much appreciated for hydration. Some staff members could smile more but Nicole always has a smile and made up for it with her friendliness and great service! Would love if the shower heads were upgraded to same as AC Hotel and other brands but overall stay was great and will return again.

This review is long overdue. I travel to the Pleasanton area for work and have been staying at the Pleasanton Marriott for about four years, often two weeks at a time, so I’ve gotten to know this property well. The hotel is consistently very clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the M Club is fully operational, which is a big plus for frequent travelers. The location is very convenient—close to restaurants, markets, and a nearby mall, with easy freeway access and complimentary parking. It’s also within walking distance to the BART station, making it easy to get around the Bay Area without driving. There are several Marriott properties nearby, but what keeps me coming back to the Pleasanton Marriott is the staff. I’ve experienced excellent service from the front desk, housekeeping, M Club attendants, and restaurant waitstaff. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. After staying here so many times over the years, it honestly feels a bit like a home base when I’m in Pleasanton. I truly love staying at the Pleasanton Marriott. They always accommodate my mobile check in. The property is well kept, the beds are top notch and the service is the best. Byron at check-in is very welcoming and polite. I rather stay here and drive further into work than to stay closer to the office! Highly Recommend.

Stayed here while on a business trip. The rooms are fine, but the whole place is kinda dated, and could really use a renovation. Service is top notch! Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, I really liked the lounge, there were always nice beverage and snack options available there. Would be nice if there was an option for custom hit breakfast for elites, like some other places offer. Very convenient location, would stay at again if I am in the area.

I rent three rooms and stayed there with my family. Checking in was fast and easy and the staff were very friendly and nice. All the rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was located in a secluded and safe location.

Love coming to this Marriott location! The staff is amazing with every interaction, the location is clean, safe and easily accessible from anywhere. They always greet our dog, Leo, who also loves coming here for the extra love and attention. The rooms are clean and quiet and the service at the lounge is top notch.
